GENERAL REGULATIONS
I.ORGANIZERS, TIME AND VENUE
The European University Tennis Championship will be organized in Touques, France from 12 –17 th December 2004 under the auspices of the European University Sports Association (FISU), in collaboration with the French Tennis Federation, by the F. F. Sport U. (French University Sports Federation.
II. PROGRAM OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP
Sunday, 12 December
- Arrival of the teams

- Confirmation of order of merit to referee
Monday, 13 th December
- 9:30 General Meeting
- 11:00 Welcome Address
- 1 pm : 1 st round pool
Tuesday, 14 th December
- 9 – 12 and/or 1 pm – 6 : 2 nd round pool
Wednesday, 15 th December
- 9 – 12 and/or 1 pm – 6 : 3 rd round pool
- 9 pm Dinner and Party
Thursday, 16 th December
- 1 pm – 6 : semi-finals and classification matches
Friday, 17 th December
- 9 – 3 pm : Finals and classification

IV.CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
To participate in the European University Tennis Championship 2004 countries invited by the OC shall meet the following requirements:
- Member associations of EUSA
- Only the competitors who satisfy the following conditions may take part in the event :
a) be students who are officially registered for and pursuing a full time course of study at a university or similar institute, whose status as a university is recognized by the appropriate national academic authority of their country
b) former students of the institutions mentioned in c) who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in the year preceding the event.
V.ENTRIES
Procedure
The countries invited to participate must follow the entry procedure. Countries must ensure that all their entries reach the Organizing Committee in due time and in the form prescribed by the OC and the regulations of EUSA.
Individual dossier to submit on arrival
The individual dossier for each competitor to be presented to the OC must include:
a) a passport or identity card which shall include:
- full name
- nationality, date and place of birth
- a recent photograph
b) if not sent, individual entry form with 2 recent photograph ( possibility to download it on this website )
c) if a student:
- a document providing that he has satisfied the conditions normally required in his country for entrance to a university or similar institute
- a student card or certificate originating from the appropriate academic authority certifying that the competitor is officially registered for and pursuing a full-time course of study
d) if a former student:
- Proof of the date he obtained his final academic degree or diploma
The Head of Delegation or his deputy, in submitting the individual dossiers for his competitors shall produce a list certified by the appropriate national academic authority of his country, of the universities or similar institutes whose status as universities meet the requirements.
VI. FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
EUSA Registration fee
EUSA shall receive from each competing country the following entry fees:
- effective members of EUSA: Euros 20.- (twenty) per competitor and official
- other associations: Euros 40.- (forty) per competitor and official
The participation entry fees will be collected by the OC before the issue of the competitors’ identity cards.
Participation fee : 40 Euros per person and per night
One month before the championship, the countries entering the event must confirm their entry with an advance payment of 50% of the total participation fees entered by 15th November 2004.
The complete participation fee, which guarantees an entry and all accommodations shall be directly collected, in Euros, by the OC when delegations arrival.

Travel cost
The countries shall be responsible for their own cost of travel to TOUQUES (Deauville) France and return.
